What Is Skin Rejuvenation?
Skin rejuvenation is a broad term consisting of various treatments used to correct and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections on your face or body. At Vein & Body Specialists, we utilize laser technology to smooth out your complexion and reverse the signs of aging to give you a refreshed, younger-looking appearance.
What Types of Skin Rejuvenation Treatments Do You Offer?
At Vein & Body Specialists, we offer the following treatments for skin rejuvenation:
PicoFractional Toning and Skin Toning
Utilizing photoacoustic energy, the PiQo4 laser emits nano and pico laser pulses to stimulate the creation of new collagen, a process called neocollagenesis. The laser’s high energy and deep reach cause certain pigments to shatter, creating a brighter and more even skin tone. Treatment sessions take less than 10 minutes to complete and require no downtime. Typically, three sessions are needed to have a visible improvement in skin texture, with optimal results achieved after five sessions performed in 2 – 6-week intervals. Improvements can continue to be seen for up to six months following treatment.
A common skin condition, melasma is a skin discoloration characterized by brown to gray-brown patches, usually on the face. Parts of the body commonly exposed to the sun, such as forearms and the neck, can also suffer from melasma. The PiQo4 laser can lessen the appearance of melasma in a quick four-minute procedure by smoothing the natural skin tone. There is no downtime for this procedure.
Acne and Scar Removal
By stimulating the body’s ability to produce new collagen and elastin, the PiQo4 laser can treat acne and smooth out leftover scars.
Dermal Pigments and Epidermal Pigment Treatment
Laser treatment is the only effective skin rejuvenation procedure for dermal pigments because of the laser’s ability to penetrate the epidermis and reach the dermal layer. Dermal pigmentations include Mongolian spots and nevus of Ota. Epidermal pigmentations, including sunspots and keratosis (noncancerous skin lesions), are also easily treatable using lasers by breaking up the pigmentation and smoothing the skin’s complexion.
Who Is a Candidate for Skin Rejuvenation?
Anyone looking to revitalize their skin or correct imperfections caused by aging or free radical damage is a likely candidate for skin rejuvenation. If you suffer from scarring, sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles or want to improve your texture, tone, and pigmentation, we have a skin rejuvenation treatment that can help.
How Much Does Skin Rejuvenation Cost?
There is no one cost for skin rejuvenation, as the cost varies depending upon your specific treatment plan. We will always ensure that you know the cost upfront and will work with you to determine a plan that is both affordable and effective. We offer financing options such as deposits on accounts prior to treatment, CareCredit®, and we accept credit cards (Master and Visa).
